Master Gardeners

Classes & Seminars

bring home a Spring basket in this classChelan County Master Gardeners teach classes and seminars at various times during the year.

Classes are taught through the Wenatchee Valley College Continuing Education department. Classes range from the secrets of growing dahlias or choosing perfect plants for our arid climate to a hands-on class for assembling your own Spring hanging basket. Join fellow gardeners to sharpen your gardening techniques and develop a beautiful garden.

Master Gardeners also teach short seminars that introduce gardening topics and give you time to ask pertinent questions. Seminars such as those presented at the Home & Garden Show offer a short introduction to a topic such as composting or growing roses. While not as in-depth as our classes, seminars are a good venue to learn key points, stimulate your ideas, and improve your garden.
