Washington State University Project: Participants visited the campus of Washington State University to learn about educational opportunities available for post high school education. After spending the night in a school dormitory they toured the Natural Resources Deparment and visited with university educators to discuss their 4-H Forestry Education Program activities and experiences. Educational activities were presented relative to the use of telemetry to track and monitor wildlife, a tour of the Mule Deer and Grizzly Bear nutritional research projects and an interactive tour of a forest product composites laboratory. Eastern Washington University: Participants visited the Outdoor Education Department to learn about educational and vocational opportunities in the field of Therapeutic Recreation and Outdoor Recreation management.
